Red Granite

Maple Red Granite is also referred to as G4562 and G562. This coarse grained alkaline feldspar granite is used as both a building material and for architecural elements. It's very beautiful when cut and polished.

This red colored stone does vary from light to dark with black, red and gray being the most prominant colors. The darker the red, the higher the contrast between colors AND the higher the quality.

This is a good quality stone that's readily availabe at great prices.

Interesting Fact: Cenxi City is considered the Capital of Granite and nicknamed "the town of the Maple Red of granite". This granite currently (2010) ranks second place among the 39 varieties of China.
