I am having trouble keeping the travertine shiny on the surface

What can you recommend for a more shiny, glossy surface?

Answer: Clean your travertine floor really well... the Shark Steam Cleaner is awesome and just uses water (About $100)!

Use the color enhancer found here:

It will add a nice wet look. It will also help camouflage the etches - dull spots ;-)

Travertine isn't super glossy like many granite or marble floors but you could still make the colors pop with the enhancer!

The other option would be to have a restoration professional come in and re hone the floor... BUT... it could be very expensive!
