Cambrian Black GraniteBlack GraniteCambrian Black granite is quarried from several different quarries in Canada (Polycor & Granicor). It's been quarried for almost 50 years! This natural stone stands out from all of the other black granites because of its rice like grain structure. In North America, GRANICOR markets the darkest shade of this stone under the name Ste-Foy. Cambrian Black is used as a construction stone and also as an ornamental stone on interiors and exteriors. * Interesting Fact: The G.S.A. Federal Office Building in Chicago, Illinois, U.S.A. was built using 170,000 square feet of Cambrian. The Federal Reserve Bank in Washington DC also utilized Cambrian Black Granite in its building.
